- John was the first to cross the channel with a passenger in August 17th,
1910.
- John vvon at Belmont park, NY, the race around the Statue of Liberty (
Gordon Bennett Cup ) in October 1910.
- John, along with his brother Alfred, formed the first successful
traveling circus.
- In April 1911, Alfred Moisant opened at Long Island, one of the first
flying schools in America, well known to be the first one to accepct
women.
